Oversee financial reporting, equity accounting, and SEC compliance for a public company.

Tasks
-Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reporting. -Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for to support both public and non-public financial statements. -Prepare or assist in the preparation of consolidated analytics. -Evaluate business transactions for proper U.S. GAAP accounting treatment, including accounting and disclosure recommendations. -Perform technical research and prepare technical accounting memos, including complex evaluation of variable interest entities and consolidation considerations . -Assist with the implementation and ongoing monitoring of significant new accounting pronouncements and documentation of accounting policies. -Prepare core financial statements, including statements of shareholder’s equity and cash flows. -Oversee Bridge’s share-based compensation, non-controlling interest, and other complex equity accounting .

What You Bring
-Ability to analyze and question data for reasonableness and proper accounting. -CPA required. -Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple assignments with competing priorities, and meet tight deadlines. -Strong attention to detail. -Experience with Yardi and Workiva a plus, but not required -Strong verbal and communication skills -6+ years of financial reporting and auditing experience, with at least 3+ years of public accounting experience and experience working in a public company's external reporting function. -BA/BS in Accounting or Finance. -Advanced Excel skills -Experience in the real estate and or alternative asset management industry is preferred -Good understanding of financial statements, U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting rules.
