Overview
Handle maintenance requests, renovations, and emergency repairs for residential units.

Tasks
-Perform on-call emergency maintenance according to schedule -Plumbing – repair and install toilets, sinks, faucets, valves, run power auger to clear blocked lines -Complete all required administration for the position on a tablet -Doors, windows, and cabinets – repair, replace, and install -Painting and finishes – cleaning, sanding, priming, painting, textured surfaces -Floors – repair laminate, carpet, tiles, and install, repair baseboards -Coordinate inspections of turnover suites with the Customer Care Team -Electrical – replacing light fixtures, switches and receptacles -Participate in training and engage in continuous learning -Ensure contractors complete their work per established quality standards -Locks – repair, replace, rekey, and mastering -Appliance – repair and install -Preventative Maintenance inspections and reporting -Assist with snow removal as needed -Ensure to have majority of the tools on the tool list (list provided during interview) -Address requests for maintenance within 72 hours

What You Bring
-Must have a reliable vehicle and clean driving record -Working knowledge of English language both verbal and written -Ability to fix the problem correctly the first time -Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service -Additional skills and experience in framing, tiling, drywall, flooring, and plumbing -Valid driver’s license -Ability to spend up to eight hours walking, standing, climbing stairs, lifting -Basic knowledge of hydronic heating systems and furnaces -Group RRSP matching -Ability to work independently and with others in a team environment (at any location as needed) -Ability to maneuver up to 90 kg with the proper equipment -2+ years of renovation experience -Asbestos abatement certification -Familiarity with technology is required -Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
