Tasks

-Using power tools -Installs fixtures, wiring conduits, motors, and other electrical equipment. -Performs work required for the repair, maintenance, installation, and modernization of electrical systems for buildings, equipment and grounds. -Inspects circuits for specified shielding and grounding. -Tests electrical equipment, such as, motors, heaters, and controls for safety and efficiency, using standard test equipment and by observing functions. -Pulling wire -Performs work of a skilled variety demanding a high degree of manual and technical competency. -Repairs malfunctions by such methods as replacing burned out elements, fuses, and replacing defective wiring, cleaning and repairing motors. -Perform manual labor as required that may include: -Using heavy equipment -Locates and determines electrical malfunctions using test equipment.

What You Bring

-Requires initiative and ingenuity to analyze a situation and to make frequent technical decisions based on specifications and electrical codes. -Lifting 50 pounds -Have minimum 1,200 field hours that are documented and verifiable on a commercial job site. -Ability to sustain considerable physical effort at frequent intervals. -Thorough knowledge of the electrical trade. -High school diploma or equivalent. -Manual excavation -Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without employer sponsorship.
