Tasks

-Use SQL to analyze and transform data from relational databases. -Assist in optimizing and documenting reporting processes, ensuring accuracy and performance. -Contribute to business development initiatives through data analysis, reporting, and pipeline visibility. -Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions, mentorship check-ins, and end-of-summer presentation of findings. -Support ad hoc requests from teams across Customer Service, Servicing, Escrow, and Sales. -Partner with the Business Intelligence and Business Development teams to support ongoing reporting and strategic initiatives. -Build and refine Tableau dashboards to provide executive-level visibility into key metrics.

What You Bring

This person will support key reporting and business intelligence initiatives across the organization, while also gaining visibility into business development strategy and execution. The role will include exposure to relational databases, SQL, Python, Tableau, and reporting automation giving the intern real-world experience with tools and processes critical to careers in software engineering, data science, operations, reporting, and business intelligence. Interns will receive ongoing mentorship from the Business Intelligence team, participate in team meetings, and collaborate with cross-functional partners in Servicing, Sales, and Operations. To be considered for employment, a candidate must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer and not require sponsorship, now or in the future. -Learning Sessions: Master Excel, understand credit, and learn to invest. -Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment. -Experience or coursework in Python is a plus. -Bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing a degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, Statistics, or a related field. -Exposure to Tableau, Power BI, or similar visualization tools. -Effective communicator who can collaborate across teams and document processes clearly. -Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. -Familiarity with SQL and an understanding of relational database concepts.
