Overview

Supervise residential new‑construction electrical installs, ensuring code compliance.

Tasks

-Install boxes, wire, devices, lighting, breakers, and equipment according to the local NEC codes. -Walk through job after completion and check for code compliance. -Oversee day-to-day installation activities across multiple crews. -Maintain safety standards. -Inspection and repair of electrical wiring, systems, fixtures in residential new construction homes. -Reading and interpretation of technical drawings, and blueprints to identify where wiring is or should be placed. -Assist with troubleshooting as necessary to meet home completion deadlines. -Troubleshoot and repair all circuitry in new home construction. -Lead, monitor, motivate and oversee their team to ensure productivity and quality standards are met. -Make sure productivity goals are met by crews.

What You Bring

-Understanding of local and federal regulations for safe electrical systems. -Strong supervisory and leadership skills. -High school diploma or equivalent required. -Demonstrate safe work habits and proper care for tools and Equipment. -Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. -Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. -Journeyman's card, current and in good standing (required). -Must have Valid Driver’s License and clean MVR report. -Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time. -Excellent mechanical skills. -Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections. -Jouneyman Licensed (required) * -Good vision to inspect work. -Ability to read and execute blueprints and technical drawings. -3-5 Years’ experience in fast paced, high volume residential electrical new construction. -Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
