General utility worker performing plant cleanup, equipment operation, and maintenance.

Tasks

-General plant/mine labor and clean-up of production areas, including shoveling stone from around conveyors and assist with plant clean up and operations -Properly follow all company policies and regulations for safe working procedures and environment -Report equipment problems and identify them to management. -Light maintenance work and maintain the belt lines -Complete equipment pre-shift report – if applicable

What You Bring

-Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include plant clean-up, maintenance, operating equipment and other duties as assigned -Must have sufficient hand-eye coordination to operate tools, equipment, and vehicles safely. -Ability to learn quickly -Being trained in various other entry level production positions and fill in as needed during vacations, absences and increased production demand times -Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull materials or equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on a regular basis. -Operate equipment, including but not limited to skid steer and loader. Experience is preferred. -Self-motivated individual, must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision -Must pass pre-employment drug screen -Must be willing to work weekends and overtime -Must be able to climb in and out of vehicles and equipment safely. -Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain, dust, etc.) -Ability to maintain safe working conditions -Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods of time throughout the workday.
