Tasks

-Assist with threat, configuration, and patch management in alignment with compliance standards and security frameworks. -Experiment with AI powered tools that will help the Cyber Security team better respond to customer requests. -Support the Cyber Security team across product and corporate security initiatives. -Promote a positive security culture by educating and advising team members. -Contribute to security awareness and education efforts across the organization. -Work with the Cyber Security team to advance roadmaps and initiatives using agile methods. -Participate in incident response and remediation activities. -Learn to identify and assess vulnerabilities in application code, collaborating with engineering teams to determine relevance.

What You Bring

-Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. -Current enrollment in a university program related to Cyber Security, Computer Science, or a similar discipline. -Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) preferred. -Experience with generative AI technologies such as ChatGPT, preferably creating and using RAG (retrieval augmented generation) techniques. -Foundational understanding of networking concepts and system vulnerabilities. -Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse team. -Familiarity with vulnerability management tools or SIEM solutions is a plus. -Demonstrated curiosity and initiative in learning about security challenges and technologies.
