Overview

Design and deliver built-form structural projects, from concept to site completion.

Tasks

-All aspects of design in structural engineering. Involvement in projects from technical design and documentation through to completion on site. -Practice safety in project design and delivery, supported by quality checking and verification activities. -Undertake site inspections, particularly in operating Department of Defence facilities -Preparation of design sketches and details for drafting by technical staff and oversee the design development and documentation. -Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

What You Bring

-Bachelor of Civil Engineering or equivalent is essential. CPEng or equivalent charted status preferred but not essential. -Strong practical understanding, proactive high-level thinking and high attention to detail. -Ability to work accurately and efficiently within a busy client focused team. -Local Brisbane and QLD project experience will be highly regarded -Strong communication and liaison abilities to engage with clients and other engineers. -Relevant industry experience in a consulting environment with 5-10 years’ experience. -The ideal candidate would be applying their experience to a diverse range of structural engineering projects, with the key focus on built form sector.
