Tasks

-Validate the accuracy of cost management and forecast reporting. -Perform quality checks and inspections on project controls deliverables. -Perform Project Forensic Analysis. -Lead the Interactive Project Planning Meetings (IPPM). -Interface with the Project Management Team and Accounting Department to review project costs and contingency costs and support external audits. -Validate proper set-up and management of the Enterprise Planning & Controls software. -Complies with all policies and standards. -Lead the presentation of Project Controls reporting. -Review upstream (prime contract) / downstream (purchase orders & subcontract) change orders. -Analyze progress curves. -Develop, implement, and manage the reporting data warehouse to produce valuable program controls reports and data for multiple large projects. -Develop and maintain effective relationships with existing and potential clients, customers, and contractors. -Analyze progress measurement. -Serve as a point of contact for technical questions from the project team. -Analyze and evaluate schedule management involving the critical path method of scheduling techniques, estimating, project cost management, forecasting and document control. -Validate the accuracy of earned value management system reporting. -Develop and implement project execution plans. -Validate proper Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) is utilized. -Perform and review material takeoffs. -Responsible for engineering, procurement, and construction planning, scheduling, logistics and cost control. -Analyze cash flow reports. -Develop effective scheduling reports, cost reports, cash flow reports and forecasts for multiple projects. -Provide leadership and training to team members ensuring the resolution of difficult project control issues. -Validate schedule progress. -Analyze data, logs, and reports in the Enterprise Planning & Controls software or other tools. -Perform field audits to validate accuracy of reporting and processes. -Identify and oversee the Risk Management process.

What You Bring

-Experience with Oracle Primavera P6 preferred. -Excellent interpersonal skills. -OSHA 10-hour safety certification Ability to obtain. -Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement. -Experience in negotiation of prime agreements, construction contracts/subcontracts agreements. -Excellent attention to detail. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Excellent presentation skills. -Experience with critical path scheduling, project cost management, estimating and document control required. -Proficient with Microsoft Office. -Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field. and 7 years direct project controls experience Required. -Ability to facilitate and produce detailed construction schedules and interface those construction schedules with engineering and procurement activities preferred.
