Estimate fire protection projects, perform site visits, and assist sales and marketing.

Tasks

-Determine customer needs and develop a sales strategy to gain customer understanding of company offerings. -Close sufficient sales to exceed sales plan objectives. -Develop a positive ongoing relationship with existing and new customers, general contractors and end users. -Establish contact with prospects and qualify potential buyers of Fire Protection contracts by scheduling sales calls, following up on leads and utilizing outlined marketing strategies. -Estimate small projects including fixed price service as required in addition to large projects ranging from $100k-$1MM+.

What You Bring

-Previous Contract Sales experience with ground up warehouse, retrofit warehouse, and cold storage warehouses would be a plus -Previous design and/or construction Project Management experience preferred. -Familiar with reading blueprints, understanding current NFPA 13, 14, and 20 standards and local codes. -Experience performing tasks such as layout, takeoff, and hydraulic calculations to put contract proposals together for customers. -Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required -Experience with various design software/tools such as AutoCad, Revit, Revu, and Navisworks. -Understanding of underground design and install procedures for bidding purposes would be a plus. -Experience in a Fire Protection industry preferred -Proven ability to work effectively with minimal supervision, able to multi-task and organize work -Exceptional presentation, verbal and written communication skills -Ability to build new business associations / relationships and grow the Fire Protection Business
