SUPERVISOR DISTRIBUTION 3rd Shift

Tasks

-This employee will be responsible for direct reports. -Supervise the movement of finished goods through the warehouse from receiving through shipping and returns. -Maintain a sufficient inventory of materials and supplies in the work area to meet daily operational demands. -Complete performance evaluations and perform continuous performance feedback. -Provide a safe work environment that meets the guidelines of the Company safety program while achieving the departmental safety goals. -Continuously measure/monitor performance according to established standards. -Select, hire, train, and appraise Distribution Team Members to attain the highest quality standards of service and achieve optimal productivity levels. -Supervise the department distribution functions, which may include reviewing orders and/or schedules to ensure that activities within the department are completed according to established schedules, determining work priorities and work assignments required to meet the established schedule, and coordinating proper staffing and equipment needs to accomplish daily operational objectives cost-effectively and efficiently.

-High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data. -4-6 years relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience. -Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills. -High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures. -Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite products. -Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once. -Able to multitask, prioritize, delegate, and manage time effectively. -0-2 years of management experience. -Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in own job discipline or field. -Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
