As a Drafter, you will be responsible for drafting customer configurations from submittal to release drawings to the plants.
Use 2D AutoCAD software to configure designs from existing standard drawings.
Ensure the best design principles and business practices are utilized to meet customer needs.
Create new drawings by checking dimensions from physical parts with digital calipers.
Prepare clear, complete, and accurate customer drawings from job drawing edits and/or engineer sketches.
Organize work and maintain a high level of productivity output.
Read customer architectural elevations and mechanical plans.

Apply strong working knowledge of drafting fundamentals, including orthographic views, standard dimensioning practices, and scaling.
Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, machines, and various building materials.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret specifications into detailed drawings for customer submittal and release acceptance.
Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
3+ years of post-education/certification work experience in a drafting role.
