Tasks

-Maintain accurate data entries, part numbers, and Min/Max inventory levels. -Monitor usage trends and recommend adjustments to inventory levels. -Purchase and source parts and materials for equipment. -Create and manage purchase orders, vendor managed inventory (VMI) and returns or shortages. -Collaborate with Maintenance and operations teams to identify part needs and resolve supply or delivery issues. -Be involved in innovative and exciting projects throughout the local area and the state. -Work with vendors to obtain competitive pricing, lead times, and availability. -Assist in removing obsolete parts and improving material flow processes. -Support continuous improvement and cost saving initiatives. -Research new suppliers and maintain strong relationships with existing ones.

What You Bring

-BS in Business, Economics, or Supply-Chain Management. -Experience with Microsoft office and ERP systems. -Knowledge of mechanical and equipment parts. -Strong attention to detail, organization and communication skills both written and verbal -2 + years of purchasing or buying experience, preferably within construction, industrial or mechanical environments. -Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. -Valid Driver's License and satisfactory driving record.
