Tasks
-Compliance and Safety: Ensure that all field training activities adhere to safety regulations and compliance standards. -Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with industry trends and emerging best practices in field training, and incorporate these into existing programs. -Mentorship and Support: Provide ongoing mentorship and support to field personnel, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. -Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of training sessions, participant progress, and other relevant data. Generate reports to measure the impact of training initiatives. -Curriculum Enhancement: Continuously evaluate and update training materials to ensure alignment with industry standards, regulations, and emerging technologies. -Performance Assessment: Implement assessment tools to evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and individual performance, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement. -Training Program Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs for field personnel involved in utility locating. -Field Training Delivery: Conduct hands-on training sessions for field staff, covering topics such as utility mapping, equipment operation, safety procedures, and industry best practices. -Collaboration: Work closely with operations and safety teams to identify training needs and address specific challenges in the field.

-Detail-oriented with strong organizational and documentation skills -Demonstrates a strong commitment to safety, both in terms of performance and attitude. We are looking for individuals who prioritize safety in their work, adhere to safety protocols, and actively contribute to creating a secure and healthy work environment. A positive safety mindset and a track record of safe work practices are essential for this role. -Ability to deliver effective field training programs. -Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of utility mapping, equipment operation, and safety protocols. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Willingness to do overnight travel as needed. (up to 50%) -High school diploma or GED required. -One year or more of proven experience in utility locating or a similar field, with proven high quality results.
