Tasks
-Develop, implement, and manage enterprise-wide physical security programs and procedures. -Coordinate with law enforcement, fire departments, and emergency response teams during incidents or investigations. -Complete all additional tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or company. -Provide executive leadership with updates on emerging security threats, incidents, and risk mitigation efforts. -Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local security and safety regulations. -Work closely with property management, operations, and HR to support a safe and secure environment for employees and tenants. -Oversee the installation, maintenance, and monitoring of security systems, including CCTV, access control, and alarm systems. -Monitor vendor performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and company standards. -Conduct regular facility risk assessments and security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend corrective actions. -Develop staffing plans and ensure adequate security coverage across all properties. -Supervise and mentor security personnel, including internal staff and contracted third-party guards. -Negotiate and oversee contracts with security vendors, technology providers, and equipment suppliers. -Direct crisis management operations during emergencies, including evacuations, lockdowns, or natural disasters. -Partner with IT leadership to align physical and cybersecurity measures. -Provide training and guidance to staff and tenants on emergency procedures and workplace safety. -Lead internal investigations into theft, workplace violence, policy violations, or other security-related events. -Develop and implement emergency preparedness and response plans across all sites. -Develop and manage the annual security budget, ensuring efficient use of resources. -Represent the company in security-related community partnerships, industry associations, and regulatory discussions. -Establish performance standards, conduct evaluations, and support ongoing professional development. -Promote a culture of safety, vigilance, and accountability within the organization. -Coordinate post-incident reviews and implement process improvements based on lessons learned.

What You Bring
-Proven capacity to analyze risks, investigate incidents, and implement preventive measures. -Must be able to walk, stand, climb, bend, and move throughout large retail and commercial properties for extended periods during routine inspections and site visits. Occasional lifting, carrying, or moving of materials or equipment up to 25 pounds may be required. -Excellent organizational and time management abilities -Strong knowledge of security systems, surveillance technology, and emergency response procedures. -Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills -Strategic leadership and crisis management expertise -High ethical standards and confidentiality -Emergency Management or Incident Command System (ICS) Training -Certified Protection Professional (CPP) or Physical Security Professional (PSP) – ASIS International -CPR, AED, and Basic First Aid -Familiarity with OSHA standards, workplace safety compliance, and applicable federal and state regulations. -Experience managing multi-site security operations in commercial or retail environments. -Ability to perform effectively under pressure and in fast-paced environments -Travel: up-to 15% -Exceptional leadership, communication, and decision-making abilities. -Valid Driver’s License -Strong analytical and problem-solving skills -OSHA 10-Hour General Industry Safety and Health -Proficiency in contract negotiation, vendor management, and budget administration. -Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in corporate security, law enforcement, or military operations, including at least 5 years in a leadership capacity. -Certifications (Preferred or Willing to Obtain): -FLSA Status: Exempt, Full-Time
