Accounts Payable Supervisor

Supervise AP team, manage invoice processing, vendor relations, payments, and compliance.

Tasks

-Manage the vendor onboarding process, including payment terms decisions. -Manage multiple competing priorities and ensure timely responses to requests. -Participate in process improvement initiatives and special projects as needed. -Lead staff members to ensure timely payment processing. -Approve payment runs and ensure adherence to company policies. -Develop and implement strategies for effective invoice processing and payment management. -Ensure new acquisitions are properly setup to support payment processing. -Oversee annual 1099 filing process. -Coordinate with other departments to resolve vendor disputes and financial discrepancies.

What You Bring

-Proven experience in accounts payable, with a strong understanding of accounting principles. -Strong analytical and decision-making abilities. -Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. -Excellent leadership and team management skills. -Proficiency in relevant software, including Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Excel, and accounts payable systems.
