Overview

Conduct ultrasonic, radiographic, MP, PT, and visual NDE inspections and lead crews.

Tasks

-Works independently as crew lead on job sites -Trains assistants on proper processes and procedures -Prepare reports and other work documents in a timely and accurate manner -Perform Ultrasonic, radiographic, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, and visual inspections on specifically assigned field or laboratory projects

What You Bring

-Experienced with NDT methods and procedures -Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel -Ability to follow process and procedures -Strong work ethic -Detail oriented -IRRSP card for industrial radiography -Must be able to lift a minimum of 75 lbs. -Must meet or exceed ASNT-TC-1A Level II requirement for experience and education -Must be able to work off ladders and scaffold -Understands and utilizes safe work practices -Exceptional safety and quality awareness -Post education in nondestructive testing -TWIC badge a plus -Dependable and reliable -80 hours of RT classroom training -High School Diploma or equivalent -Mechanically inclined -Willingness to travel to out-of-town assignments -40 hour radiation safety training -Familiar with NDT equipment -Recent experience performing magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, ultrasonic, radiographic and visual inspections
