Assistant Construction Project Management Intern

Assist project managers with construction planning, coordination, and safety tasks.

Tasks

-Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met. -Perform administrative tasks related to project management as needed. -Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement. -Participate in site visits to monitor project progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. -Assist in conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies. -Support project managers in tracking project progress, schedules, and budgets. -Help prepare project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and progress reports. -Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.

What You Bring

-Strong interpersonal and relationship building ability -Currently enrolled (or recently graduated) pursuing related degree -Self-starter with the ability to manage his / her time and resources -Ability to be flexible and maintain a positive attitude -Must be willing to travel to multiple job sites -Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States to be eligible for this position. Individuals with temporary visas (including, but not limited to E, F-1, H-1, H-2, L, B, J, or TN) or who need sponsorship for work authorization now or in the future, are not eligible for hire. -Familiarity with common word processing, spreadsheet, presentation, project management, e-mail software -Basic oral and written communication skills
