Field Service Engineer

Overview

Service, maintain & repair generators and compressors for customers in Stockton-on-Tees.

Tasks

-Always follow company Health & Safety policies and procedures. -Work on fleet fitted with telematics; equipment is fully sync-able using ComAp or Deep Sea Electronics (DSE) panels. -Diagnose faults, replace parts and carry out effective mechanical repairs. -Attend breakdowns, complete planned maintenance and ensure first-time fix where possible. -Service, maintain and repair generators (20–1400 kVA) and compressors at customer sites. -Liaise professionally with customers and internal teams.

What You Bring

-Strong knowledge of diesel engines and hands-on experience in fault finding and repairs. -Flexibility to cover overtime and participate in the on-call rota. -Good IT skills (including Microsoft Office). -Ability to work independently under pressure and as part of a team. -Full UK driving licence. -Experience servicing/repairing generators, compressors or similar plant/equipment. -Clear written and verbal communication.
