Lead enterprise-wide training strategy and development for a manufacturing company

Tasks
-Implement and manage the Learning Management System (LMS) and integrate emerging technologies for digital learning -Lead the development of comprehensive training programs across technical, compliance, safety, leadership, and functional skill areas -Collaborate with HR and EHS leaders to implement and maintain required compliance, regulatory, and safety training programs -Maintain audit-ready documentation and ensure completion tracking across all locations -Build frameworks for onboarding, cross-training, and career progression to support talent development and retention -Establish and monitor KPIs to measure program effectiveness, employee engagement, and learning ROI -Serve as the executive sponsor for all corporate training programs, driving strategic initiatives across multiple plant and office locations -Partner with senior leaders to assess training needs, support succession planning, and drive capability building at all levels -Ensure all learning programs meet regulatory and industry standards -Provide regular updates and strategic insights to the executive team on training impact and workforce capability -Define and execute the company’s training and development strategy in alignment with organizational objectives and long-term growth plans -Leverage internal facilitators and external vendors to scale and enhance training programs -Manage departmental budgets, vendors, and resource allocation to maximize efficiency and impact -Lead and grow a high-performing training team; coach and mentor staff to build internal instructional design and facilitation capabilities -Oversee all aspects of training delivery including in-person, virtual, and hybrid models

What You Bring
Compliance & Safety Training -Excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills -Demonstrated leadership of cross-functional initiatives and experience influencing executive stakeholders -Experience leading training in a multi-site industrial or manufacturing organization -Strong understanding of adult learning theory, instructional design, and training program measurement -Community College Technical Instruction Experience is Highly Preferred -Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, or related field (Master’s degree preferred) -Proven ability to align training initiatives with business strategy in a manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environment -Proficiency in LMS platforms and training delivery tools -Familiarity with ISO, OSHA, and other industry-specific training compliance requirements -10+ years of progressive experience in training and development, with 5+ years in a leadership or director-level role -CPTD, SHRM-SCP, or other relevant certification
