Tasks

-Fabricate, machine, and assemble components used in trenchless pipeline rehabilitation equipment and utility construction projects. -Perform grinding, sanding, painting, and other mechanical duties assigned by the shop or foreman. -Ensure all work meets PURIS quality and safety standards to support reliable field operations. -Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety practices. -Operate fabrication and machining tools such as saws, drills, grinders, lathes, or milling machines to modify and repair parts. -Perform duties within guidelines of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for assigned functions. -Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and equipment specifications to produce accurate components. -Assist with setup, maintenance, and repair of specialized trenchless equipment, including pipe-handling systems and rehabilitation machinery. -Manually handle and move pipe, tools, and materials to and from equipment as needed.

What You Bring

-Familiarity with utility construction materials such as steel, PVC, and composite pipe -Skilled in operating fabrication and machining equipment to produce precision parts -Travel may be required to support field projects -Ability to work independently as well as part of a construction team -Previous fabrication, machining, or utility construction experience preferred -Valid state issued driver’s license -Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills for mechanical and equipment-related issues -Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, pipeline schematics, and equipment manuals -Knowledge of safety practices in heavy construction or utility environments -Strong attention to detail with the ability to ensure equipment reliability in the field
