Overview
Operate survey equipment and perform land/topographic surveys for commercial sites.

Tasks
-Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines. -Provide topographic surveys of assigned areas. -Operate and maintain all technical survey equipment assigned by the corporation. -Perform assigned surveys to establish lines and grades at commercial sites as well as property boundaries. -Perform and document all calculations necessary in support of survey reports. -Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team. -Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement. -Responsible for uploading field data, notes, photos, and maintaining personal job schedule. -Prepare time sheets and expense reports.

What You Bring
-Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents. -Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems. -Valid driver's license -Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset. -Knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. -Equipment knowledge of: Total stations, GPS, Data collectors, Metal detectors, General surveying equipment, Carlson software -Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. -Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. -High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered. -Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 100 lbs. or more.
