The Role

Overview

Assemble portable power distribution boxes safely in high‑volume manufacturing.

Tasks

-Perform required quality control checks and inspections to assure the product being manufactured is meeting required specifications. -Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) which are necessary to properly operate the equipment and manufacture the product. -Maintain and operate hand tools and power tools. -Must understand, complete, and maintain all required paperwork necessary in the operation including entering paperwork into Epicor. This also includes daily production reports, tally sheets, scrap reports, etc.

What You Bring

-2 years of experience working in a manufacturing environment -Have basic computer skills and accurate data entry experience for receiving and issuing products. -Analytical thinker with proven problem-solving ability. -Accuracy and timeliness in completion of work assignments is a must. -Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines and visually inspect parts produced. -Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds on an intermittent basis. -Frequent lifting, standing, bending & reaching required. -Technical secondary education is preferred. -Proficient use of hand and power tools required. -Understand the job orders and interact with Epicor. -Experience reading and interpreting electrical schematics and diagrams preferred. -Self-motivated, takes initiative, drives closure on open issues with minimal supervision. -Perform simple mathematics to comprehend and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc. and to keep accurate account of materials used during manufacturing process including scrap amounts. -Must adhere to all the PPE requirements to perform the job safely, this includes but is not limited to, Eye, Hand, Feet, and Hearing protection. -High personal integrity and ethics with uncompromising standards. -Basic understanding of blueprints, mechanical assembly, and electrical assembly. -Good hand dexterity and grip strength. -Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test. -Well organized, detail-oriented, with ability to multi-task. -High school diploma -Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
