The Role

Overview

Repair and maintain surgical systems, handle customer repairs, ensure compliance.

Tasks

-Reviews device master records, history records and other quality-related documents for -Creates and provides customer service and/or the customer accurate quotations for repairs of -Performs inspections of repairs in the Returns area and follows applicable procedures (Repair, -Follow up with customers, contracted field service, sales and marketing personnel over -Repair, inspect, and conduct preventive maintenance of surgical systems and equipment. -Completes records of repairs and performs data entry for medical devices and follows the -Assist in coordinating and administering the flow of technical services for each service call. -Performs routine review of repairs to determine if a complaint should be generated and -Act as the liaison technical service professional and interact with workshops, customer service -Troubleshoot and repair surgical tables and related equipment in-house and if needed at -Performs routine testing of medical devices to replicate device complaints and whenever -Complete service forms for hospitals through company established systems.

What You Bring

-Technical experience, preferably in a regulated environment (FDA, ISO 13485 etc.) that includes -Ability to read common technical drawings and documents on mechanical and/or electrical devices. -Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including written and verbal skills, and ability to -Inspection and technical repair experience in the medical device field is highly desired. -Self-motivation with a sense of task ownership to work and solve problems confidently, crossfunctionally, -Ability to determine quick and efficient solutions to problems that may arise in the activities of inspection

Benefits

-Pay Rate: $21 - $27 Base USD Per Hour
