Tasks
-Data gathering and analysis -Support the established Quality policy -Operate lift truck as required. -Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition and follow safety policies and procedures. -Prepare graphs or charts of data and/or enter data into computer for analysis. -Recommend modifications of existing quality or production standards to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability. -Select products and prepare samples for tests at specified stages in production process, and test products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical or chemical characteristics per required standards. -Evaluate data and complete reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing standards. -Fulfills role as required in the documented quality system manual, directives and work instructions. -Record test data, applying statistical quality control procedures. -Assure 100% compliance to all standards including but not limited to ASTM, NSF, UL, etc. -Support operators in finding solutions to quality problems. -The employee is responsible to comply with all company and government safety regulations and procedures. -Set up and perform destructive and nondestructive tests on materials, parts or products to measure performance, life and/or material characteristics per required standards. -Raise concerns to management when quality concerns arise. -Lift and move heavy items as required.

What You Bring
-Must have an eye for detail to ensure accuracy -Computer proficient, especially with Excel and Word. SAP experience desired. -Walking – frequently 4-5 hrs -Lifting - up to 40# frequently -Applied Mathematics -Must possess strong interpersonal skills. -Lifting – 50# to 75# with assisted apparatus (overhead crane/forklift) -Squatting/Stooping – Rarely -ASTM and GFS Test Methods -Excellent communication skills required -Standing – 2 hrs -Must wear proper PPE. -Must display a positive and professional demeanor. -High school graduate, GED or equivalent -Ability to read and write English clearly and concisely. -Must have the ability to work overtime and weekends when needed
