Concept, preliminary and detail designs for water treatment plant upgrades.
Coordination with civil, hydraulic and mechanical aspects while guiding and informing the architectural, structural, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and I&C disciplines.
Participate in local and national professional organizations, including attending and presenting at conferences.
Coordinate and oversee pilot studies.
Perform process technology evaluations and selection based on raw water characteristics and flows to satisfy safe drinking water regulations.
Coordinate and oversee condition assessment of water infrastructure.
Makes decisions independently on engineering problems and methods.
Assess trends in the marketplace and support business development activities related to water projects, including strategy, approach, and engineering fee.
Mentor and develop junior water process and designs staff.

Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Strong communication skills in coordinating with clients, sub-consultants, regulatory agencies, and members of the public to accomplish assigned objectives.
10+ years of extensive project experience in municipal water planning and design.
Concept, preliminary and detailed designs for water distribution projects (pumping stations, storage tanks, and distribution / transmission mains).
Master's Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical Engineering is highly preferred.
Experience with planning, design, construction, and operation of water-related projects, including supply, treatment, pumping station, storage, and distribution / transmission.
Experienced technical writer.
Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work well in a team environment.
Strong knowledge of water design codes, standards, and regulations.
Strong commitment to ensuring safe project execution.
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience/or education.
