Overview

Lead design and delivery of sustainable streets, active travel and urban transport projects.

Tasks

-A ct as project manager including liaising with clients and other design teams; -Prepare preliminary and detailed design; -Preparation of Contract tender documents and Procurement Process; -Be responsible for the delivery of project solutions; -Be responsible for contract administration on site; -Manage sub-consultants and other in-house Arup discipline teams; -Prepare fee proposals and manage budgets for individual projects; -Preliminary Design and the Planning Process; -Manage other staff members with the delivery of design drawings, supporting transportation analysis and the preparation of reports; -Responding to design queries during construction;

What You Bring

-Traffic Modelling Software (i.e. LINSIG, Junctions 9, VISSIM, etc..); -Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS); -Highway Geometric Design including the Transport Infrastructure Ireland (TII) Publications (formerly the DMRB); -Urban Street Design (including a good understanding of the Design Manual for Urban Roads and Streets (DMURS), The Traffic Signs Manual, the National Cycle Manual etc..); -Civil Engineering Design;
