Tasks

-Management and administration of construction contracts, ensuring compliance with contract terms -Streamlining and enhancing operational workflows; -Developing a premier capability and team; -Establishing and maintaining productive and collaborative relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders -Proactively engaging with markets and suppliers; -Payment valuation and assisting the PM in payment certification -Preparation of tender documentation -Evaluation of tenders -Ensure appropriate commercial records are maintained in line with the contract requirements and oversee any contractual issues

What You Bring

-This role is subject to a client interview and acceptance -Full Membership of chartered body such RICS or a substantively progressed route on an approved APC pathway. -A wealth of experience postgraduate in Rail, Nuclear, Water and/ or Environment. -Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree qualification in Quantity Surveying -Valid CSCS card, with Water Hygiene Card desirable. -CDM regulation knowledge and experience. -An experienced user of the NEC3-4 suite of contracts (A-C-E must have) -NEC3/4 Option A, Option C, Option E ECC Contract management and administration client side -Site presence and co-location minimum 3 days a week -Risk management experience -If you live in the North West area and you have the skill set, please reach out for a discussion -Line Management and recruitment experience of Quantity Surveyors or Assistant Quantity Surveyors. -Main contractor and/or joint venture experience working client side -Evaluation and negotiation of change orders or variations -You must have the right to work in the UK
