Assistant Project Manager

Overview

Assist planning, coordination, and execution of insulated metal panel construction projects.

Tasks

-Compile documentation for project estimates and bid submittals. -Support the creation and editing of shop drawings for IMP installation. -Coordinate delivery of materials, equipment rentals, and labor across multiple job sites. -Communicate effectively with site superintendents, foremen, vendors, and clients. -Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards. -Assist in planning and implementing the installation of insulated metal panels (IMPs) and cold storage systems. -Track and report project budgets, expenditures, and payroll submissions. -Monitor project progress and prepare status reports for upper management. -Prepare and process change orders with general contractors for additional time and materials.

What You Bring

-1-2 years of commercial construction experience. -Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical specifications, and schematics. -2+ years of experience in commercial or industrial construction, with a preference for cold storage or metal panel systems. -Experience in commercial building and metal fabrication. -Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Excel. -Experience with Bluebeam and Bluebeam Revu. -Familiarity with construction safety practices and regulatory compliance.
