What You Bring

-NJPE, NJPP/AICP, and or RSP1/RSP2 preferred. -A bachelor’s degree in engineering, planning or a related field is required. -Extensive experience with the NJDOT Roadway Design Manual, AASHTO guidelines, MUTCD, and Complete Streets policies. -Minimum of 3 years of experience with safety projects and road safety project delivery, including traffic signal engineering, crash data analysis, and safety program development. -Knowledge of Highway Safety Manual (HSM) and experience in conducting HSM analysis, including predictive methods, IHSDM, and ISATe tools. -Experience with the NJDOT Capital Projects Delivery Process is highly desirable. -Familiarity with FHWA-proven safety countermeasures, crash reduction factors, and the process for creating collision diagrams and determining crash patterns. -SHSP Implementation
