The Role

Overview

Manage pharma utilities hard services, ensuring safety, compliance, and team performance

Tasks

-Lead and direct engineering technical support team to ensure equipment optimisation, reliability, and availability -Reporting of key KPI's on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis -Identify and implement appropriate training programmes to improve skill sets and develop individual career paths -Execution of maintenance and calibration programme for equipment in scope -Ensure all team members are technically qualified for respective roles -Direction of operations team across key environmental systems, e.g., wastewater treatment etc. -Management of sub-contractor activities on site -Management of site team and co-ordination of activities within scope -Identification and filling of roles on team when/if required -Design and/or modification of industrial utilities -Ensure all activities on site are carried out in a safe manner, in compliance with site, local and national rules, regulations, guidelines and site procedures -Develop long-term strategic direction in liaison with client and implement as appropriate -Commercial management of sub-contractors identified for support and specialist services -Commercial responsibility for contract. Cost control, budgetary management and forecasting, internal reporting

If you are a non-EU/EEA national , you will require current and valid permission to work and reside in the Republic of Ireland. -Trade qualification (National Craft Cert, City & Guilds or Equivalent), preferably mechanical/building services, with ten years plus post apprenticeship experience, with supervisory/line management experience, or -Training curricula of each team member is maintained at the required level, and any new/updated training is implemented to relevant personnel. -Continuous improvement techniques 5S/Kaizen/6 sigma/ FMEA. -Marine qualification, with 5 years' plus experience at sea. -Six Sigma qualification -Computer Skills (Excel, Word etc) -Supervisory/management qualification -Experience in energy management role with ability to demonstrate a clear history of savings achieved. -Supervisory/management experience in a pharmaceutical utilities' environment -Supervisory/management experience in an industrial utilities' environment -Maintenance and troubleshooting experience of industrial utilities -Demonstrate an ability to motivate and drive a team in a continuous improvement environment. -Excellent PC Skills & ability to develop and deliver presentations at both client and internal levels. -Knowledge of CMMS systems (SAP) -Engineering degree or equivalent, preferably in mechanical/building services, with four to five years post graduate experience, or -Demonstrable Health & Safety experience, particularly in a Seveso or similar type environment -Self-motivation, ability to work alone and as part of team -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to communicate to all levels of organisation in a clear, concise and respectful manner
