The Role

Overview

Lead HSE strategy, site operations, and client consultancy across projects.

Tasks

-Lead emergency preparedness and response planning, including drills and simulations. -Design and deliver HSE training programs for employees, contractors, and clients. -Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with HSE policies and procedures. -Promote a proactive safety culture through engagement, awareness campaigns, and leadership development. -Provide expert HSE consultancy services to clients, including gap analysis, system development, and regulatory compliance support. -Facilitate workshops and training sessions for clients on HSE best practices, legal obligations, and cultural transformation. -Track and report HSE KPIs, trends, and performance metrics to internal and external stakeholders. -Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventive measures. -Oversee HSE performance across multiple project sites, ensuring adherence to local and international standards. -Lead the integration of HSE principles into project planning, execution, and delivery. -Mentor junior HSE staff and contribute to talent development within the organization. -Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and recommendations tailored to client needs. -Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other relevant standards and regulations. -Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, audits, and corrective actions. -Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and enforce corrective actions. -Develop and implement comprehensive HSE strategies aligned with corporate goals and project-specific requirements. -Advise senior leadership and clients on HSE risks, regulatory changes, and mitigation strategies.

What You Bring

-Proven experience managing HSE operations on large-scale, complex project sites. -Minimum 13 – 17 years of progressive HSE experience in engineering, construction, or infrastructure sectors. -Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field. -Must have UAE Experience. -NEBOSH International Diploma, IOSH Chartered Membership, or equivalent certification required. -Demonstrated consultancy experience with client-facing roles in HSE advisory, audits, and system implementation. -ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.
