Insulation Installer

Overview

Install and replace fiberglass or mineral wool insulation in buildings per blueprints.

Tasks

-Clears and disposes of old insulation according to established safety guidelines. -Loads and unloads insulation materials. -Measures and cuts insulation to fit into walls, ceilings, and around pipes. -Follows company and industry safety guidelines and regulations. -Installs or sprays insulation in attics. -Fastens insulation in place with tape, screws, staples, or fasteners as needed. -Reads building plans and blueprints to calculate the quantity and type of insulation materials needed to fulfill job requirements. -Transports needed tools and equipment to jobsite. -Installs and replaces insulation in buildings and mechanical systems. -Ensures all installations follow guidelines and quality standards.

What You Bring

-Ability to follow instructions. -Exceptional earning potential based on individual output and performance. -Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. -Construction and Related experience preferred. -Ability to use hand tools and power tools to install insulation. -Excellent communication skills. -Ability to work in confined spaces. -High school diploma or equivalent preferred. -Extensive knowledge of insulation materials -Excellent time management skills. -Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a time.
