Design, deploy, maintain desktop environment and provide senior-level support.

Tasks
-Shares responsibility for company-wide desktop, mobile device, and application support including Windows operating systems and other standard business applications as a member of the Service Desk technical team. -Designs and implements mass application distributions and global reporting. Leverage SMS/SCCM for OS/application package deployment. Implement application virtualization, and application compatibility remediation strategies. -Creates OS image/build packages, application packages and undertake OS installation/troubleshooting. -Supports software by troubleshooting systems and applications, training staff and end users, testing software, maintaining databases and licenses, and working with vendors. -Develops and tests update packages for workstations and laptops and installs all necessary security and application patches to ensure safe/efficient systems operations. -Completes administrative tasks as required, which may include system and process documentation, answering the phone, and responding to inquiries. -Serves as advanced technical resource to other staff members for application and workstation/laptop problem resolution. -Defines hardware standards, engineering and securing the standard desktop platform, while implementing procedures to ensure consistency with company goals, industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
