Tasks

-Conducts field observations to validate practices, identify hazards, and reinforce safe behaviors. -Manages tools, materials, vehicles, and staffing to support efficient maintenance execution. -Leads by example to foster a proactive safety culture and promote Safety Citizenship. -Develops and implements data strategies to improve asset data quality and enable condition-based maintenance. -Ensures full compliance with safety protocols, regulatory requirements, and company policies, including company safety standards and procedures. -Collaborates across engineering, operations, and procurement to assess asset performance and apply reliability-centered maintenance. -Drives team performance through coaching, training, and evaluations. -Plans, schedules, and oversees preventive and corrective maintenance to support asset reliability and performance. -A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity. -Leads and coordinates response efforts during emergency incidents to ensure safety and operational continuity.

What You Bring

-Currently or previously held SCE Acting Operator status. -This position has been identified as a NERC/CIP impacted position - Prior to being hired, the successful candidate must pass a Personnel Risk Assessment (PRA) or Background Investigation. Once hired, the candidate must complete specified training prior to gaining un-escorted access to assigned work location and performing necessary job duties. -Experience in Consolidated Mobile Solutions (CMS). -Four or more years of combined experience as a Journeyman Substation Electrician, Test Technician and/or in a leadership role within Substation Construction, Maintenance, Test, or Operations. -Experience in Systems, Applications and Products in Data Processing (SAP). -Currently or previously held SCE Qualified Electrical Worker status. -Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act. -Experience in Microsoft 360 Suite (e.g. Outlook, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, SharePoint, etc.). -Position will require up to 20% traveling and being out in the field throughout the SCE service territory. -Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.
