  • Experience in diagnosing property defects and specifying appropriate remedial works.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to customers, colleagues, and legal representatives.
  • Experience managing contractors, preparing schedules of work, and delivering projects within agreed budgets and timescales.
  • Knowledge and understanding of housing disrepair legislation, including The Homes (Fitness for Human Habitation) Act 2018 and HHSRS.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Professional qualifications: Chartered membership (RICS, CIOB or equivalent) and a relevant construction qualification (HNC, degree or equivalent).
  • Strong understanding of landlord and tenant legislation and leaseholder consultation.
  • Ability to complete an enhanced DBS check.
