What You Bring

-Experience with type of field equipment – use of Trimble is a plus -Must have experience with robotic instruments and GPS experience -Ability and willingness to follow instructions that may be written or delivered verbally -Experience with Construction Staking – must understand the flow of construction and the staking layout of offsets. Must know how to run bench loops and calculate grades, as well as interpret stakeout sheets and civil engineering construction plans -2 plus years of experience as a Party Chief required -Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time -Professional Licensure and Society Memberships -Must have a valid Driver's License -Must have excellent attention to detail and strong ability to ensure accuracy -Civil 3D or Carlson CADD experience is a plus -Travel generally up to two weeks at a time may be required for position, up to 50% of the time -Experience with Topographic Surveys – must be able to interpret and locate elevation changes on the land, identifying specific utilities needed, identifying tree types, and understanding what the civil engineer will need in their design build -Must be dependable and responsible regarding punctuality and attendance -Must have familiarity with ALTA or Land Title Surveys – must understand how to locate improvements on land and finding property corners, including interpreting deed maps and plats
