Design and draft construction drawings, ensure compliance, and support project teams.

Tasks

-Size and specify design requirements accurately. -Compare field data to base plans to ensure accuracy and consistency. -Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring projects meet ISO compliance requirements. -Consult and coordinate with other practices and sub-consultants as required. -Size and specify design requirements, ensuring all design aspects meet project and regulatory standards. -Collect necessary data, including measurements, sketches, notes, and photographs, to support project needs. -Work with a team of drafters and designers under the supervision of a project manager to support the practice. -Demonstrate commitment to team performance and actively participate in meetings. -Complete all assigned tasks on time, within budget, and in accordance with the project scope. -Review and interpret design manuals, technical documents, and local jurisdiction details. -Read and interpret technical documents, design manuals, and local jurisdiction details to effectively perform job duties. -Design and draft construction drawings using AutoCAD (or other required software), ensuring they meet the required standards for approval by federal, state, and local agencies. -Attend bi-weekly or more frequent meetings with project teams to discuss progress and address any issues. -Design and draft construction drawings using standard engineering principles for approval by federal, state, and local agencies. -Prepares thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches with some guidance.

What You Bring

-Experience with Microsoft Suite; Photoshop and Google Earth -Able to review projects with customer(s) and answer design questions. -Strong knowledge and proficiency in AutoCAD. -Must be able to interface in clients work management system and other design programs. -Minimum of 8 years of experience with a Highschool Diploma/GED; Minimum of 7 years of experience with an Associate’s Degree; Minimum of 6 years of experience with a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field. -Valid Driver’s License
