Develop and manage safety training and compliance programs for solar EPC projects.

Tasks
-Assist in developing, reviewing, and approving safety processes, including support for process mapping, and developing Standard Operating procedures. -Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, trends, and best practices in safety training. -Conduct regular audits of training records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. -Manage the training calendar and ensure timely completion of all required training. -Work in tandem with the operations teams to identify areas for enhancement in safety training processes and procedures. -Develop and implement the Qualified Electrical Worker Program for the organization. -Carry Weight: infrequently carry weight and/or lift objects (light to heavy) weighing up to 10 pounds -Development and implementation of safety training programs, including curriculums, syllabus, evaluation criteria, training satisfaction surveys and other training initiatives. -Proactively communicate with field personnel to address any training-related issues or concerns. -Design and coordinate the safety assurance program. -Execute additional responsibilities as delegated by the Director of Health and Safety. -Provide comprehensive support for safety training initiatives, including coordination of training sessions, management of training materials, and tracking of training completion.

What You Bring
-Minimum of 10 years of experience in training and field compliance. -Strong understanding of developing and writing Standard Operating Procedures. -Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is preferred. -Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. -Proficiency in training databases such as Avetta, ISNetworld, Heatspring, etc. -Strong understanding of training and compliance process and procedures. -Noise level ranges from moderate to high (if on construction worksite) -Knowledge of project management principles and practices is a plus. -Regular attendance, in accordance with company's attendance policy and supervisory assignment, is an essential job duty requirement for this position -Travel: up to 50% as needed -Strong understanding of Electrical Safety Standards (OHSA, NFPA 70E) -Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. -Hearing and Speech: frequently communicates with the ability to hear and talk on a regular basis with employees, coworkers, and all personnel matters; must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations -Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively within project teams. -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook and other software applications. -Stationary Position: frequently remains stationary up to 90% of the time and sitting up to 8 hours in a day -Noise level ranges from low to moderate (if in office setting) -Fluent in written and spoken English. -Willingness to travel occasionally as required. -Sight: frequent use of sight to detect images on computer, office documents, and office objects near and far -Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities.
