Inspect tanks/gas lines for leaks and hook up gas lines in Water Heating Division.

Tasks

-Practice and support Rheem values with internal as well as external customers. -Visual inspection of tanks for leaks using air pressure or water or inspect gas lines for heater gas leaks before packaging. -Observe all departmental safety requirements. -Must properly hook-up gas lines (L.P. or Natural gas) to units for leaks. -May work under extremely wet conditions. -Contributing Respectfully - Sharing opinions, valuing ideas, sharing opposing perspectives with respect -Inspect units or parts for defects and workmanship. -Maintain good housekeeping in work area.

What You Bring

-Occasional lifting of 60+ lbs. -High School Diploma/GED. -Frequent lifting of 25-60 lbs. -Must be able to stand, walk and/or lift repetitively during shift. -Work from written or verbal orders. -Must have vision level appropriate for inspection. -Thinking Creatively – Applying creativity, seeking improvements, understanding from the customers’ lens -Must be able to work in wet conditions. -Must be able to frequently lift in unsupported positions as well as bend, twist/turn, reach, push/pull. -Continuous lifting of 5-25 lbs. -Listening to Understand – Open mind, learning from others, accepting feedback, embracing the objective -The following test will be administered: Eye exam.
