Maintain and repair HGVs, vans and EVs, ensuring fleet efficiency and compliance.

Tasks
-Mentorship & Flexibility: Support apprentices and adapt to varying work demands, demonstrating leadership and resilience -Streamlined Fleet Maintenance: Ensure timely and cost-effective upkeep of diverse vehicles, optimizing operational efficiency. -Lifecycle Management: Skilfully handle the commissioning and decommissioning of vehicles, ensuring fleet readiness. -Operator Collaboration: Work closely with operators for seamless maintenance and repairs, enhancing fleet performance. -Communication with customers and contractors

What You Bring
-Time served apprentice with City and guilds level 3 in HGV maintenance and repair OR equivalent qualification, skills, knowledge and experience -Ability to learn the necessary skills to obtain a Class 1 HGV driving licence -Compliance Mastery: Maintain meticulous records and adhere to transport and safety regulations, upholding high standards. -IRTEC inspection technician qualification is advantageous -Team working, organisational skills -Experience using vehicle diagnostic equipment -Valid driving licence -Knowledge of Transport and Health and Safety Legislation -Welding and fabrication skills (MIG) would be advantageous
