The Role
Overview
Assist PM in planning, coordinating, documenting, and managing construction projects.
Key Responsibilities

Tasks
-Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and ensure adherence to project plans and specifications. -Assist the Project Manager in the planning, execution, and finalization of construction projects. -Coordinate with contractors to ensure all aspects of the project are aligned. -Assist the Project Manager in preparation of discovery documents for legal claims, if applicable. -Maintain detailed project schedules, including milestones, deadlines, and deliverables. -Prepare and process invoices, change orders, and purchase orders. -Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, schedules, reports, and meeting minutes. -Ensure that all project documents are properly stored and accessible. -Facilitate regular meetings with Project Manager to discuss progress, address issues, and ensure alignment. -Maintain a proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution. -Prepare, and track, tendering packages sent to contractors. -Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications. -Communicate with contractors with respect to providing bids for our projects. -Track and report on project progress, including costs, timelines, and quality standards. -Monitor and address any issues or obstacles that may impact project timelines or quality.

What You Bring
-Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project). -Experience: 1-3 years of experience in construction project coordination. -The ability to read, and understand, all drawing disciplines. -Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. -Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. -Strong organizational and time management skills. -Knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations. -Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. -Education: Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
