Develop and execute test strategies, automation, and defect resolution for networking products.

Tasks

-Develop and maintain project test strategies, specifications, and plans. -Contribute to the design and build of a test automation suite for rigorous daily product testing. -Execute test plans and test cases both manually and using test automation. -Report hardware and software defects and collaborate with development engineers to debug and correct them.

What You Bring

-Knowledge of overlaying GPON, XGPON, and NGPON services onto a single fiber is beneficial. -networking automation -Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical training with 3+ years of related experience. -Hands-on experience using traffic generators such as IXIA or Spirent Test Center. -Strong technical, analytical, and testing skills. -Participation in automated test development with a preference for using Quali Systems Cloudshell/Testshell automation development tools. -Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision. -3 or more years of experience in WAN/LAN/OLAN testing or equivalent technical training and education. -Fast learner who can quickly assimilate product knowledge and testing environments to add immediate value. -Expertise in Python programming language and script generation. -Working experience with Networking (OSI model and protocols) focusing on L2 (e.g., LLDP, xSTP, ACLs, MAB, 802.1x).
