Quality & Environmental Systems Manager - 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Overview

Manage ISO quality and environmental systems, drive ESG and Net Zero initiatives.

Tasks

You’ll work collaboratively with colleagues across the APEM Group, providing advice and guidance on quality and environmental matters, leading audits, and driving continuous improvement across the organisation. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a varied position - balancing hands-on auditing and data management with strategic ESG, Net Zero and sustainability initiatives.

What You Bring

Are you passionate about driving quality, sustainability, and environmental excellence across a growing business? Do you have a strong understanding of ISO management systems and a keen interest in ESG and Net Zero initiatives? -Excellent organisational and communication skills, with the ability to engage across teams -Professional certifications (e.g. ISO Lead Auditor, IEMA, CQI) -Proven experience in managing ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems -Experience conducting internal and external audits -Familiarity with supply chain management and sustainability practices -Ability to write clear procedures and guidance documents -Experience developing and delivering Net Zero strategies or sustainability programmes -Strong knowledge of ESG frameworks, carbon accounting standards and environmental legislation -Working knowledge of ISO 45001 and ISO 17025 -Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
