Tasks
-Inspects painted surfaces for defects, drips, or inconsistencies. -Repairs any imperfections or defects on surfaces before painting. -Maintains accurate records of paint usage, color formulas, and work performed. -Performs quality checks to ensure the final product meets established standards. -Ensures paints and coatings are mixed to achieve desired colors and consistency. -Applies paint using various spraying techniques. -Monitors environmental conditions such as humidity and temperature to ensure optimal paint application. -Uses protective gear such as respirators, gloves, and eye protection to prevent exposure to hazardous materials. -Touches up or reapplies paint as necessary to achieve a uniform and flawless finish. -Cleans and maintains painting equipment such as spray guns and paint booths. -Cleans, sands, and prepares surfaces for painting to ensure proper adhesion of coatings. -Ensures an even and smooth application of coatings to achieve the desired finish. -Communicates with supervisors and colleagues regarding paint requirements and any challenges faced. -Follows safety protocols and guidelines while handling and applying paint and coatings. -Collaborates with production teams to ensure efficient workflow and meets production schedules. -Disposes of paint waste and materials properly according to environmental regulations. -Selects appropriate paint types and colors based on product specifications and requirements. -Documents any quality issues and actions taken to address them. -Troubleshoots and performs minor repairs on equipment as needed.

-Physical stamina and the ability to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods. -Good communication skills. -Ability to work independently and as part of a team. -Familiarity with different painting equipment and tools. -Ability to lift up to 50lbs. -Strong attention to detail and quality of work. -Masks and covers areas not intended for painting. -Knowledge of paint types, colors, and application techniques. -Basic understanding of safety protocols and hazardous material handling. -Willingness to learn and adapt to new painting techniques and technologies. -Ability to work in manufacturing facilities and regularly be exposed to loud noises, dust and chemical fumes with varying and extreme temperatures.
