Tasks

-Builds trust and confidence with stakeholders quickly -Manage the end-to-end PVI warranty claims process and prepare reports to management. -Ensure compliance with required accreditations -Manage the rightsizing of PVI stocks of systems and parts, to maintain sufficient quantities to support Delta’s obligations for PVI warranties and support to the Australian marketplace. -Communicate remotely with Customer Services Manager to prepare quotes and cost assessments -Maintain accurate records of all work in the ERP system and customer portals -Ensure proper documentation for compliance and commercial risk management -Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot issues and carry out repairs, or manage the dispatch of faulty products to the factory for repair -Liaise with customers to understand their requests, to assess requests, and define appropriate actions to address customer requests. -Provide technical support to Delta PVI customers in Australia and the Asia Pacific, responding to questions about network connectivity, usage, and remote troubleshooting and fault diagnosis. -Assess OH&S risks in daily troubleshooting and repair work, and to manage OH&S risks and actively implement improvements to ensure safe working conditions. What You Bring

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated PVI Field Application Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the diagnosis and repair of PV Inverter systems and associated battery systems. You will also oversee the Delta warranty claims process for PVI products with responsibility for inventory management and PVI business performance. Additionally, you will manage customer relationships and customer support for all aspects of the Delta PVI business. -Valid driver’s license required -Troubleshooting and diagnosis of PVI related faults, within the Delta warehouse and occasionally on sites. -Previous experience working with PVI highly desirable. -Contributes positively to the team and communicates effectively -Ability to think conceptually and innovatively -Proficient in MS Windows, MS Dynamics CRM, MS Outlook, MS Teams, and SAP -Advanced presentation skills with the ability to influence both technical and business audiences -Composed in high-pressure and challenging environments -Understanding of Solar PV inverter systems and batteries -Basic SQL database knowledge (advantageous, but not essential) -Strong analytical thinker with a creative approach to solving complex problems -Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills -Ability to work independently and to effectively teamwork within Delta and with Delta’s external service providers. -High attention and compliance to OH&S, security, and Delta policies.
