Tasks

-Perform on-site commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of PLC-controlled systems; travel up to 80% across India based on project requirements. -Integrate PLCs with sensors, actuators, HMIs, SCADA systems, and ensure seamless communication using industrial protocols like Modbus, Profibus, and Ethernet/IP. -Design, develop, and customize PLC programs using Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and other IEC 61131-3 languages for various machinery and production lines. -Prepare and maintain technical documentation including wiring diagrams, program logic, user manuals, and operating guides using MS Office tools. -Collaborate with cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with safety standards while coordinating with vendors and customers for timely support and delivery.

-Skilled in HMI/SCADA development using tools like Wonderware, WinCC, and Ignition -Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering -Strong electrical knowledge including reading schematics and working with sensors, actuators, relays, and motor controls -Hands-on experience with PLC platforms such as Siemens (TIA Portal, Step 7), Allen-Bradley (RSLogix, Studio 5000), and Mitsubishi -5+ years of experience in Bodyshop/Chassis shop installation and commissioning, preferably in automotive or automation industries -Strong expertise in handling Spot-Welding jigs, Arc welding fixtures, Roller hemming fixtures, with sound knowledge of BIW processes -Proficient in PLC programming using Ladder Logic, Structured Text, and Function Block Diagram (FBD) -Familiarity with industrial communication protocols including Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, OPC UA, and CANopen
