The Role

Lead design and manage workplace architecture projects, overseeing teams, budgets, and client liaison.

Tasks

-Guide and mentor staff in the review of technical and code matters -Create and maintain project management documentation plans and weekly work plans with the project architect -Track financial performance of projects -Create and communicate clear and attainable project objectives and project requirements -Manage project scheduling, budgets, and set up coordination with contractors, vendors and consultants -Prepare project proposals, negotiate contracts and fees, coordinate bidding process -Manage a range of project team sizes, comprised of project architects, design directors, and interior designers -Coordinate projects conform to contracts and provide quality control of drawings -Manage all phases of design and production work for the Workplace team alongside Studio Directors

What You Bring

-Knowledge of building codes, standards and building structures -Knowledge and aptitude in other design software platforms preferred, including but not limited to: Deltek VantagePoint, SketchUp, Enscape, Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, and Office 365 -Excellent communication skills, fostering a culture of mentorship and apprenticeship within the team, -Experience leading, managing and mentoring multiple project teams -Bachelors or Masters degree from an NAAB-accredited institution -Working knowledge and understands the implications of how the design of a project affects BOMA or other square footage calculations -The willingness to travel, as there will be occasional travel to regional projects -Proven fiscal accountability and responsibility on projects -10+ years of professional architecture experience, ideally experience in Workplace project types -Proficiency in Revit
