Tasks

-Spearhead efforts to gather and utilize requirements for switching components and apply them toward design of physical products -Drive the design and development of novel pulsed power electronics components and systems, focusing on high-efficiency, high-reliability semiconductor solutions -Stay informed on emerging semiconductor materials, device architectures, and industry trends -Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of electrical, mechanical, and physics-based principles in semiconductor development -Conduct simulations, testing, and analysis to validate designs and iterate quickly using data-backed decision making -Lead development cycles, including hands-on prototyping, small-scale testing, and large-scale performance validation -Document design processes, specifications, test results, and findings for continuous improvement and knowledge sharing

What You Bring

-Bachelor’s, Master’s, or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field -Background working with semiconductor fabricators to manufacture semiconductor devices -Proven experience with rapid prototyping and development cycles in a high-tech environment -Strong foundation in semiconductor physics, power electronics, and circuit design principles -8+ years of experience in power electronics and high voltage semiconductor design -Proficiency with simulation tools and test equipment for power electronics
