Tasks

The Concrete Superintendent will oversee all concrete work on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. This role involves coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and site workers to manage and direct the execution of concrete projects, including foundations, slabs, walls, and other concrete structures. -Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and architects to understand project specifications and requirements. -Monitor the progress of work and adjust as necessary to ensure timely completion. -Supervise and manage all on-site activities related to concrete work. -Foster a positive and productive work environment. -Plan and organize manpower, materials, and equipment for concrete projects. -Ensure that all work is performed according to plans, specifications, and industry standards. -Provide guidance, training, and support to team members. -Maintain open and effective communication with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders. -Investigate and report any safety incidents or accidents. -Address and resolve any issues or concerns raised by clients or team members. -Develop detailed project plans and schedules for concrete work. -Conduct safety meetings and ensure that all team members adhere to safety standards. -Lead and mentor a team of concrete workers, including laborers, foremen, and subcontractors. -Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and quality standards. -Conduct regular site inspections to identify and resolve any issues or defects. -Enforce safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment. -Prepare and submit regular progress reports. -Inspect and ensure the quality of all concrete work.

This position will be primarily focused on supervising, inspecting, and approving day-to-day operations of concrete projects. -Excellent with Details: You are meticulous, ensuring tasks are completed with precision and quality, reflecting our high standards. -Strong leadership and management skills. -High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in construction management or a related field is preferred. -Effective Communicator: Your communication skills are top-notch, capable of maintaining professionalism and clarity in all interactions, representing our brand with integrity. -Proficiency in project management software and tools. -Flexible: Agile and adaptable, you readily respond to changing priorities, demonstrating resilience and a positive attitude in dynamic environments. -Minimum of 5 years in a supervisory role. -Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. -Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. -In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment. -Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. -Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
